FORIMMEDIATE RELEASE
ORILLIA, ON, (February 12, 2008) -  The City of Orillia Parks
& Recreation Department and theOrganizing Committee of the World
Series of Fastball are very pleased toannounce the signing of
a new presenting sponsor of the annual majormen’s international
fastball tournament.  Osprey Media Publishing Inc, a division
of Sun Media, is very pleased to become amajor part of this annual
international event in Orillia.  This sponsorshipwill allow the
organizing committee to not only promote this exciting eventthroughout
Central Ontario but it will also allow them to promote both the
tournamentas well as the game of men’s fastball throughout all
corners of Ontario. 

Osprey Media is byfar the most dominate newspaper publisher in
Ontario outside of theprovince’s largest metropolitan areas.
 They currently publish 20daily and 34 non-daily newspapers,
as well as a number of shopping guides andmagazines.  Osprey
Media’slocal relationship and commitment to their communities
is at the core of whothey are and what they do.

The annual World Series of Fastball is now in its 11th year ofoperation
and it has established itself as one of the top invitationaltournaments
on the major men’s tournament schedule.  The tournamenthas played
host to teams from across North America and as faraway as New
Zealand.  The Annual World Series of Fastball features thebest
men’s fastball players in the world.

The 2008 edition of the annual WorldSeries of Fastball will take
place at Kitchener Park, in the city of Orillia, on the weekend
ofJuly 18, 19, and 20.  The invitations have been sent out to
theteams and we will soon be announcing which teams will be competing
at the 2008tournament.  Additional information, including additional
new sponsors willbe released in the coming months.  Watch your
