Hello all. As depressing as the daily snowfall and frigid temperatures
are here in Wisconsin, I do have a little news on this year's
Boys of
Summer Open Tournament to warm up your day. The dates are July
11-13,
2008. The event will again be held at Circle Tap and two diamonds
in
Denmark Memorial Park. Denmark is a short 15 minute ride south
of Green
Bay directly on I-43.
This year's even will again host 16 of the best teams. Normally,
I could
say best North American teams but we do have a South American
team this
year. There will be 4 pools of 4 with eight teams making it to
a single
elimination tournament. One playoff game at CT on Saturday night,
the
other quarterfinals are 10 AM on Sunday, SemiFinals at noon,
Finals at 2PM
at Circle Tap.
I hope you can all come out and enjoy on of the strongest and
exciting
tournaments of the summer and experience fastpitch in one of
the most
electric atmospheres in the game. For those of you have never
seen the
facility I hope to have an airial photo posted on our website
in the
coming months.
