    The Rick McDonald Memorial Fastball league second round semis
best of 5 series will now resume on Monday August the 11th  in
Azilda at the Rick McDonald Memorial Sports Complex .Series "A"
between the Dog House North Stars (they lead the series 1-0)
and the Whitefish Lake First Nation Steelers game two and the
opening game of series "B" between the Garson Hounds and the
Pickerel River Cardinals were both rained in Garson on Thursday
night. 
                                                            
     The 4th annual Elliot Lake Fastball Classic scheduled for
this weekend August 8th to the 10th has been cancelled.
                                                            
      The Northerns for ladies and men is coming together very
well . We should have final numbers by the end of the weekend
and packages of the schedule (double knockout) and the rules
should be emailed to you no later than Tuesday August the 12th.
                                                            
      Good luck to all the young ladies playing the year end
tournament for  Greater Sudbury's Minor girls program this weekend
at the Terry Fox Sports Complex.
