MARCH BREAK IS HERE.... WHICH MEANS SOFTBALL SEASON IS AROUND
THE CORNER!

NORTH YORK, ONTARIO- The weather is warming up and March Break
is on its way, which can only mean one thing... softball season
is about to start!! Softball Ontario is excited to have the ability
to have elementary school teachers/principles, after school programs
or community groups use our new Active Softball program duringMarch
Break! This is a great opportunity for March Break groups have
their participants learn have fun and keep active while the weather
warms up!

This brand new program allows students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 to
learn movement skills and concepts through the sport of softball.
A great new way to keep your students active and fulfill elements
of the physical education curriculum, the Active Softball Program
is available for schools or groups to borrow for a period of
one (1) month free of charge!

What is included in an Active Softball Kit?
An Active Softball Kit consists of everything you will need to
introduce your class to the game of softball.

Each Kit contains the following:
                * An oversized Active Softball Game Board (6'
x 6')
                * A set of six (6) playing pieces and dice
                * A "Rules and Skills" Guide (Yours to keep!)
                * An equipment set, including:
                       - 9 Softball Gloves
                       - 8 Softballs
                       - 4 Safety Bats
                       - 4 Throw-Down Base Sets
                       - 1 Batting-T
                * As well as gifts for your students!

To address any concerns, all of the equipment is manufactured
using child-safe materials; the bat and ball are made of a soft
foam material, removing safety concerns that are created by aluminum
bats and hard balls. Once you near the end of your loan period
and your students have improved their softball skills, you even
have enough equipment to have a full game of softball!
