Attend ‘Conflict Management’ CSAP Workshops in North York!

NORTH YORK, ONTARIO – Softball Ontario is hosting a Certified
Softball Administrator Program (CSAP) Workshop on Sunday, February
27 2011!  A great opportunity for Softball Associations to attend
a brand new CSAP Workshop! 

Conflict Management

The diversity among members is potentially one of your Association’s
most valuable assets when the conflicts that these differences
create are understood and effectively managed to resolution.
 The workshop focus is on basic skills for identifying root causes
of conflict and developing strategies and techniques to achieve
resolution.  At the end of the workshop you will be able to:
 


Define the key elements of conflict
Understand the 5 stages of conflict 
Identify root causes and use the basic principles for conflict
resolution
Use techniques for dealing with challenging personalities
Apply a 3 step method to effectively manage conflict
Understand your own conflict management style 
The Conflict Management Workshop will be held the day after the
Get In The Game Symposium to allow Softball Associations who
may have traveled to the Symposium to take advantage of an additional
free Workshop:

Cost:          FREE

Refreshments will be included for all participants at no extra
charge. Space is very limited for the Workshop, with a maximum
of 20 participants able to attend. Each participant will receive
a free CSAP Binder, worth $25.00, as well as a small gift for
participating in the workshop. The CSAP Binder is designed to
be a resource for participants, with room to add additional information
and workbooks with each Workshop you attend.
