US World Cup of Softball VII and Men's Slo-Pitch Border Battle
IV Schedule

US Women's World Cup of Softball VII and Men's Slo-Pitch Border
Battle IV Schedule Released 

(Oklahoma City, OK) The Amateur Softball Association of America
(ASA) has released the schedule for the US Women's World Cup
IV and the Men's Slo-Pitch Border Battle IV, which will be held
from June 27 to July 2, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Six countries
will be competing in the women's fastpitch event, including Australia,
Brazil, Canada, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands and the United States.


The six teams will be competing in a round robin format, with
the top two teams playing each other in the championship game.
The four other teams will also play to determine final placing,
as the third place team will play the fourth place team, and
fifth will take on sixth. All games will be played at the ASA
Hall of Fame Complex. 

US World Cup of Softball VII - Team Canada Schedule 

June 28: Canada vs. Netherlands (12:30pm EDT) 
June 29: Canada vs. Australia (12:30pm EDT) 
June 30: Canada vs. USA (7:00pm EDT) 
July 1: Canada vs. Puerto Rico (6:00pm EDT) 
July 1: Canada vs. Brazil (8:30pm EDT) 
July 2: 5th vs. 6th (2:00pm EDT) 
July 2: 3rd vs. 4th (5:00pm EDT) 
July 2: 1st vs. 2nd (9:00pm EDT) 

Prior to the US World Cup of Softball VII, Team Canada will hold
a selection camp (by invitation only) to determine its 2012 roster.
After the US World Cup, the team will compete at the Canadian
Open Fastpitch International Championship from July 4-9 in Surrey,
BC, followed by the ISF XIII Women's World Championship, which
will take place from July 13-22 in Whitehorse, YK. 

The fourth edition of the Men's Slo-Pitch Border Battle between
Canada and the United States will be played on Saturday, June
30 at 3:00pm EDT, prior to the women's fastpitch game between
the two countries. The Canadian Border Battle Team will also
compete in a series of exhibition games prior to the one-game
showdown.
