It was a cool breezy day with clouds and a hint of sun throughout the day <BR>
here on the final day of the Jim Bradford Classic.<BR>

The day started off with the quarter finals<BR>

10am Oshawa Bombers 7<BR>
Napanee Mid Express 6<BR>
Scorekeeper took the game sheet But the midgets gave the Bombers all they could handle<BR>

The midgets took them to the 7th leading most of the way<BR>
and then the Bombers ended it with a comeback win in the bottom of the 7th.<BR>

Donnacona Team Quebec defeated the Oshawa Bombers 3-0 in a well pitched game by <BR>
Francis Leclair who pitched a NO Hitter against the Bombers and Ryan swift <BR>
who pitched great throughout the tournament pitching all 6 games they played.<BR>
Frank Leclair recorded 11 strike outs in the game.<BR>

I would like to thank everyone involved with the Cobourg Minor Ball Organization<BR>
for helping me this past weekend - without them this tournament <BR>
would not be able to continue. The food was fantastic (fries )<BR>
Double paddy hamburgs ,sausages just great<BR>
Like to thank Rory Quigley and the great crounds crew for getting us back on schedule <BR>
yesterday after the rains -all the scorekeepers and a special thanks to Rosie and Layton Dodge who score kept and announced most of the weekend.Thank you to a special group of Umpires.A special thanks to Scott Bruce ,Scott Tuttle and Giggsy for allowing me to do the tournament in Cobourg.<BR>
and to Al Doran for sitting up till 2 am waiting for the report early sunday morning (hehe)<BR>
Hopefully Cobourg Minor Ball will be on board for next year.<BR>
