<FONT color=#000000>Should we be awarded with this most prestigious fastball
tournament by Softball Ontario , we would ask the committee to move the weekend
from the third one in August to the long weekend of August . The main reason for
this is not to conflict with the ISC World championship being held in Midland
Michigan on the third week of August . In this fashion we would not have to
change the annual Northern Ontario ‘Shamou Shoot Out “ from where
its always been on the thirds weekend of August . With the Intermediate ‘A’
being moved to the August long weekend , more excellent teams from across
Ontario would come into the picture to make this a most memorable weekend
. The decision for hosting will be coming at mid November and then if we
successfully win the bid that is the change in dates we would be looking
for . A manager for the Sudbury squads has already been selected and in the next
few days a coach and assistant coach will be selected . All three will form a
committee and select the Sudbury team who will be known as the Nickel Selects
