Softball Ontario Adds Three New Coaches Committee Members to its Line-up!</div>

Toronto, ONTARIO- Softball Ontario welcomes three (3) additions to its Coaching Committee which include the following individuals <strong>Matt Allen of Guelph</strong>, ON; <strong>Ken Uyesugi of Richmond Hill</strong>, ON and <strong>Andy Roddau of Whitby</strong>, ON.</div>

Below is a brief bio on each of the new Committee Member:</div>

Matt Allen- A trained Competition-Introduction Softball coach and graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education, Matt Allen brings a new perspective to the Coaching Committee table. Matt also provides input from of being a player as well as a Softball Ontario Umpire. Matt’s coaching experience includes coaching the 2008 Kingston Kobras Midget Boys team, 2009 Paris Predators Midget Boys, 2010 Brantford Heat Jr Men's, and being the Assistant Coach for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawk’s Women’s Fast Pitch team since 2007. He is currently working with the Professional Golfers' Association of Canada as the Education Coordinator for the PGA's National Coaching Certification Program and is an active Learning Facilitator/Evaluator for Softball Ontario. Matt currently holds the position of President for the Ontario Intercollegiate Women's Fast Pitch Association.<br>

Ken U- Ken’s coaching experience started in 1998 with Oak Ridges Minor Ball Association coaching a Bantam Girls team and then moved onto Oak Ridges Co-ed 5 Pitch and since then he has never looked back. Ken was hooked and began coaching with Whitby Eagles for 5 years before moving to Mississauga North Tigers. During this time Ken obtained his Level 3 Softball Certification and was the Chairman for Softball Ontario’s Participation Committee. In 2005 Ken became a Master Learning Facilitator and Master Evaluator for all Coaching Streams of the National Coaching Certification Program, he held varies positions on the executive of Richmond Hill Softball Association (nee Oak Ridges Minor ball Association).<br>
<br>
Andy Roddau- is a Level 2 NCCP-Softball coach from Whitby, ON. Andy’s softball coaching career began in 1994 with the Whitby Girls Softball Association ( a House League and House League Select association) where his daughter played. Following his daughter playing career, Andy went onto coach Rep with the Whitby Eagles Softball Association, Ajax Raiders and is current coaching with the Port Perry Angels (U18 Tier 2) team. Andy played Fast Pitch as a young boy in Pickering, ON as a Pitcher and outfielder. As a strong supporter of Softball Ontario, he is an active NCCP Learning Facilitator and an registered/carded Umpire. The local softball associations that Andy has been involved with he has held various volunteer positions such as a Divisional Coordinator, Equipment Manager and Batting Cage Coordinator.<br>
<br>
The Softball Ontario Coaching Committee is responsible for the delivery of Softball Ontario’s National Coaching Certification Program including Learn to Coach, Keep Coaching and Competition-Introduction, Softball, Softball: Level 3 technical and Minor Development Clinic. Coaching Committee members are also responsible for setting program goals and objectives, representing the Coaching Program and working to provide Coach Education and resources in the province of Ontario.<br>

The Coaching Committee is currently involved in the following programs with more projects underway:<br>
