<div>The 1st Annual North American Fast Pitch Showcase is set Friday Aug 2nd and
Sat Aug 3 , for Keterson Park , Mitchell Ontario. Mitchell park will showcase
the #5 ranked team in the world , the Scarborough Force and fresh off there
Ontario Championship last weekend in New Dundee, led by local national player
Don Scott,. Challenging this weekend will be the #17 ranked Elmira Erb Expos,
let by one of the top left handed pitchers in the area in Dan Martin, this young
team will be looking to upset the all comers and prepare for there appearance at
the World Tournament in coming weeks. Last years ISC Challenge Cup Champions
will also appear on the weekend , the Wiarton Nationals led by Andy Jackson, and
many young players with Jr experience recently at the Canadian Jr level., the
Nationals are off to the World tournament as well although not ranked will be
looking to surprise. The last entry is from Mitchell Royals club , a young an
upcoming club that will be an all star team from the area , with two young great
arms on there roster for the weekend , fresh off the World Jr Championship is
Saskatoon in George Armstrong, and Ty Sebastian.,they will prove to be competive
and give these other three World Tournament entries the tuneup they are looking
for and provide some entertaining fastball this weekend in Mitchell. Also on tap
at the park is the South Perth Jr Mens Championship , with 6 teams vying for the
title, many young up and coming players from the area, with some off to the
Canadian Jr Mens Championship in Owen Sound , next week and some midget players
as well off to Quebec as well to compete for the National Midget title. </div>
<div>Entertainment , great food, beverages will all be available to provide a
great atmosphere at the fastball complex in Mitchell . </div>
