The <strong>Hill United Snapper Shootout </strong>will run from June 20-22 at Lancaster Park in St. Catharines, ON. Planning this event/merger has been in the works for some time. Although Hill United and Niagara Snappers are rivals in Southern Ontario's Golden Horseshoe Fastball League, they both share the same vision of what a top level tournament needs to look like. That vision has lead us to this partnership and we are extremely excited to see the possibilities unfold. Getting the ISC World Champion Chiefs on board with the planning and organizing made perfect sense and on behalf of the Snapper family we thank them for having the faith in our tournament committee to deliver a top notch event. One stumbling block that has been resolved was locating a facility that was available on this weekend and was suitable for top level play. In Lancaster Park, we have done that. It is the jewel of fastpitch softball facilities in the Niagara Region and way too much time has passed since the top players of this game stepped through its gates. The <strong>Hill United Snapper Shootout </strong>will be looking at a 10-12 team format so spaces will be limited.
