<p class="MsoNormal">SRFL Finals Update <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><br>
The Vasey Countrymen won Game two of the SRFL Finals Series to take at two games to none lead in the best of five SRFL Finals over the Wyevale Tribe. With Monday night’s action being rained out, Game 3 has been rescheduled for Thursday (tonight) in Wyevale
at 8:00 and with a frost warning in effect for North Simcoe County, both sides will be looking to warm up the bats early.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In Game 2, the visiting Tribe struck for two runs in the top of the first off Vasey Starter Shawn Heitzner. The Countrymen responded with 4 runs in the home half of the first inning off starter Mark Lambie. The inning was highlighted
with a 2-run home run to left-centre by Brad Robinson. In the top of the second, Wyevale responded with one run when Corey Kelly had a solo blast to right centre. Vasey chased Lambie from the game in the bottom of the frame favour of Jason Giffen after scoring
one run for a 5-3 lead after two complete. With the top of the Wyevale order scheduled for the third, the Tribe would plate two runs on a towering home run by Matt Tjart, which chased Heitzner from the game, in favour of right-hander Brad Robinson. In
the Home half, Jason Giffen would replace Lambie and Vasey would add one run in the 4<sup>th</sup> when Steffan Walma scampered home on an RBI double by Jamie Robinson.

<p class="MsoNormal">Vasey reliever Brad Robinson would keep the Tribe bats in check for the final four frames allowing no hits, 4 walks and 1 run. Robinson would also help his own cause with a deep 2-run shot right field in the 6<sup>th</sup> inning to break
the game open. Vasey would add one more run in the frame when Andy Robinson cashed in Steffan Walma on a fielder’s choice.
