The Palermo Athletics won their second game of the day, a close 1-0 win over South Lebanon PA TNT to advance to the Final Four in the 2006 ISC II Tournament of Champions.
Palermo was at the brink of elimination in an earlier game, overcoming a 5-0 deficit. Gord Scott picked up wins in both games, while Chris McColl doubled and scored the lone run in the nightcap against PA TNT. Palermo will face the winner of the Ashland OH-Micksburg game at 11am Friday at Peter Hallman Ballyard.
The Ashland-Micksburg is set to get underway at 9pm, the 7th and final broadcast of the day for Ballparkradio, which will determine who will join Rise Fastpitch PA, Tavistock, ON, and Palermo, ON.
