ISC Eastern Canada Area Commissioner Bob McGowan is pleased to announce the first round match-ups for the 16-team ISC II Qualifier to be held in Innerkip and neighbouring Drumbo starting Friday June 17 and continuing through the weekend.<\/p>\n
The double knockout tournament will see 30, or even 31, games played to determine who will win the coveted berth for the 2005 ISC II Tournament of Champions in Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin August 14-19.<\/p>\n
The first round games are as follows:<\/p>\n
6:45 pm Game 1 at Innerkip D1 Norwich Razorbacks vs Windsor Reds
\n6:45 pm Game 3 at Innerkip D2 Niagara Snappers vs Ingersoll Masters
\n7:00 pm Game 2 at Drumbo D1 Bridgeport Braves vs Highgate Rock
\n7:00 pm Game 6 at Drumbo D2 Aylmer Cardinals vs Elora Rage
\n8:15 pm Game 4 at Innerkip D2 Glencoe Astros vs Mitchell Mets
\n8:30 pm Game 7 at Drumbo D1 Alvinston Indians vs Elmira Cubs
\n8:30 pm Game 8 at Drumbo D2 Mississauga Arrows vs Durham Eagles
\n9:45 pm Game 5 at Innerkip D2 Palermo Athletics vs Oshawa BBs<\/p>\n
Four loser\u2019s bracket games will start at 8:00 am on Saturday at both Drumbo and Innerkip while the winner\u2019s round games will be played at 10:00 am, again at both locations. All games move to Innerkip starting at noon on Saturday and continue through to the winner\u2019s bracket final to be played at 8:00 pm Saturday evening.<\/p>\n
The championship game is scheduled for 1:00 pm Sunday afternoon with the \u201cif\u201d game slated to go immediately following if necessary.<\/p>\n
The qualifier features eight teams who are ranked among the top 48 in the June 1 ISC II rankings, including two from the top 10 and five in the top 20.<\/p>\n
