The Owen Sound Jrs marched into Elmvale on a cool Tuesday evening and handed the home side Wyevale Tribe a couple of large helpings of humble pie in Canada East Travel League action. The Jrs mercied Wyevale in both halves of the double dip (15-2 & 8-1). The story on this night unfortunately was the inability of the Wyevale pitching staff to command the strikezone. A total of 27 free passes issued by 4 different pitchers for Wyevale on this night. Matt Kuhl picked one of the few pitches that actually made it accross the plate and deposited over the centre field fence for a Grand Slam in Game #1. In the 2nd game Dustin Veenhof tossed a 3 hitter to grab the win. Owen Sound played sparkling defense in both games, and did what they needed to do to bury the Tribe.<\/p>\n
