The two bids at stake from the Gopher State ISC Travel League will go to the final games. Entering this weekend’s play at Lily Lake Park in Stillwater, Chub’s Pub Wizards (Fargo, ND) and Fisher Group (Mankato) sat at 2-3, ASB-Villard (St. Paul) was at 1-4 and Vannelli’s (St. Paul) stood at 0-5.<\/p>\n
After Saturday’s games, Fisher Group is in first place with a record of 3-4. The remaining three teams each stand at 2-5.<\/p>\n
Each team played two games today and will play two games tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Today’s games were delayed approximately 90 minutes after a rain forced delay and time to get the fields back in playing condition.<\/p>\n
The days games were exciting to say the least. Two games were decided in the bottom of the seventh inning, Villard defeating Chub’s Pub and Vannelli’s beating Chub’s Pub.<\/p>\n
Play begins Sunday at 10 am with Villard playing Vannelli’s and Chub’s Pub squaring off against Fisher Group.<\/p>\n
The Noon games will match Villard and Chub’s Pub against each other, while Fisher Group takes on Vannelli’s.<\/p>\n
A tie-breaker game will be played at 2 pm if two teams are tied for second place.<\/p>\n
