The win earns the Merchants a berth for the 2007 ISC World Tournament, but in the meantime, they will be playing in Pool B in the 2006 ISC II Tournament of Champions.<\/p>\n<p>Thomson defeated Aurora Dolan and Murphy 1-0 in the final behind the tremendous pitching of Jonas Mach of the Czech Republic. Scott Glazier&#8217;s HR in the first inning was all Thomson needed as Mach only allowed 2 hits over the seven innings. Juan Pottolichio took the loss only giving up 3 hits. It was an extremely well played game with great defense by both teams.
