The DeKalb Hogs opened up the 2008 season with 2 wins in the second annual Hustlehogs Icebreaker. Heavy rains and cold winds forced the action to be called off for the remainder of the day with games to continue Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
In game 1 the Hogs received a no hitter from Brian Tobin (4IP 0H 0ER 9K BB) and Brian also added a grand slam in the victory. Scott Beal and Joe Crouch also homered. The Hogs won 12-0. Joe Crouch was 2\u00d72 with a HR, Chad Crutcher was 2\u00d72 with 2BB\u2019s and Tommy Crouch was 1\u00d71 with 2 BB\u2019s.<\/p>\n
In game 2 Tommy Crouch (2\u00d72 BB 3R) homered twice and drove in 5 runs. Scott Beal also homered and drove in 3 runs. Joe Crouch picked up the win and struck out 12 in 5 innings.<\/p>\n
