Game C10 featured The Kitchener Hallman Twins [8th] vs Newfoundland [1st] with Kitchener winning the game 4-3.
Todd Martin started for Kitchener going 4.1 innings giving up 3 hits, 3 runs and he struck out 7 batters. Don Scott relieved Martin and earned the win going 2.2 innings giving up 2 hits, 0 runs and struck out 2. Sean Cleary took the loss for Newfoundland going 5.1 innings 4 hits, 4 runs and he struck out 7. Sean Whitten relieved him going 1.2 innings gave up 1 hit 0 runs and 3 strikeouts.
Dale Levy got Kitchener on the board in the top of the 1st with a 2 run homerun. Newfoundland then answered with a 2 run shot of their own by Brad Ezekiel, Blair Ezekiel the very next batter hit a olo homerun to give them a 3-2 lead. Kitchener then put 2 runs across in the top of the 6th capped by a Allan Phibbs RBI single.
Kitchener with the win has now won 3 straight Canadian Championships. A tough loss on the other hand for Newfoundland who were pefect up until the very last game.
