Editor’s note: The wreath shown in the photo was brought to Washington D.C. by a class of visiting middle school children (something many do when visiting D.C.) When a wreath is replaced by another, the soldier places it behind the tombstone, facing Washington D.C. Three wreaths were dedicated on this particular day, among the many year ’round.
On Monday, May 25, 2015 at 12:01 P.M. the wreath so dedicated will be presented by the Iraq And Afghanistan Veterans Of America, Inc.(IAVA) in conjunction with their invitation to “Go Silent” for a minute to honor the fallen.
