Hill United Chiefs wins contest against Circle Tap Dukes, 6-3
Hill United Chiefs fired up the offense in the first inning, when Tony Gonzalez singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Michal Holobradek took the win for Hill United Chiefs. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out eight and walking one.
Devon McCullough took the loss for Circle Tap Dukes. McCullough allowed seven hits and six runs over five innings, striking out five.

Ben Enoka’s Home Run Carries Gremlins Back to Winning Ways
New York to Take on Familiar Foe Hill United Saturday Morning in Survivor’s Bracket
Gremlins snatched the lead late in the game in a 4-1 victory over JB on Friday. The game was tied at one with Gremlins batting in the bottom of the fifth when Ben Enoka homered on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Gremlins tied things up at one. Bryan Abrey hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.
Jack Besgrove got the win for Gremlins. The bulldog surrendered one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out 16 and walking zero.
Roman Alejandro Godoy Herbel took the loss for JB. The pitcher surrendered three runs on ten hits over four innings, striking out six and walking zero.
Gremlins hit one home run on the day. Enoka had a long ball in the fifth inning.
Gremlins totaled 11 hits. Erick Ochoa, Mathieu Roy, Cole Evans, and Zenon Winters all managed multiple hits for Gremlins. Winters, Evans, Roy, and Ochoa all had two hits to lead Gremlins.
JB was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Beau Jordon Bishop had the most chances in the field with nine.
