Four top 10 teams fell from the ranks of the unbeaten on Day 3 of 2015 ISC World tournament Monday. The 2nd, 4th, 5th and 8th ranked teams all suffered losses at the hands of lower ranked teams, and find themselves in the loser’s bracket Tuesday morning, catching the attention of fastball fans around the world.
The # 2 ranked Kitchener Hallman Twins lost to the Bloomington Stix, 7-2, the second year in a row that the Illinois based squad has taken down one of the tournament’s favorites on Day 3.
The # 4 ranked Scarborough Force was upended by the # 12 ranked J & B Painting, from Agoura Hills, California, with the key addition of Team USA ace Tony Mancha, who outdueled Argentina’s Juan Potoliccio. in 12 innings.for a 5-1 win.
The Toronto Gators, who just a few weeks ago, knocked off last year’s ISC champ Hill United at the ASA Major fell to the # 9 ranked Circle Tap, with Ryan Shannahan striking the key blow off of Sean Clearyh a two run homer in the 7th to break a 1-1 tie,
The # 8 ranked California A’s fell to newcomers, # 10- ranked Peligro Gremlins, 5-1, with the A’s unable to generate much offense against Argentine youngster Roman Godoy.
A fifth top 10 team escaped a similar fate, with the # 3 ranked NY Gremlins going extra innings to squeak past the # 18 ranked Topeka Toros.

J & B Painting came into the as the #12 ranked team in the world, and knocked off the # 4 ranked Scarborough force of Ontario Canada, 5-1 in 12 innings. J & B’s ace, Tony Mancha went the distance in that game, pitching all 12 innings scattering eight hits and one run while striking out 14. Scarborough’s tough luck loser was Juan Potoliccio who also went 12 innings, striking out 22 in the loss.
The Circle Tap Dukes came into the turn in as the #9 ranked team, and upended the #5 ranked Toronto Gators, scoring two runs in the 7th inning, the key blow a home run by Ryan Shannahan. Joel Goodall picked up the win in relief for Sebastian Gervasuitt, while Sean Cleary suffer the loss, though striking out 14.
