Last year’s ISC World Tournament runner-up, the Toronto Gators made easy work of the Topeka Toros Monday, notching their second win of the tournament, with a 8-0, 5 inning run rule victory.
Sean Cleary picked up the win, pitching 4 no hit innings while striking out 9, while Justin Schofield closed out the final frame.
The Gator offense was hitting on all cylinders, scoring single runs in the first and third and a six-spot in the second inning that put the game out of reach early. Ben Enoka had two hits, an RBI and run scored from the leadoff spot, while Brandon Horn, hitting in the 2-hole also had two hits and scored two runs. Thomas Enoka doubled in two for the Gators.
