National Canadian men’s fastpitch championship
All games from Diamond 1 at the Caribou Memorial Complex in Pleasantville will be carried, with Ballpark Broadcasting’s Lance Winn, Blair Setford and Kris Abbott calling the action.
More than half of games at national senior men’s fastpitch championship will be broadcast online. Two dozen of the games in Canadian senior men’s fastpitch championship beginning Wednesday in St. John’s will be streamed online through www.softballcanada.tv.
The first streamed game will be the tournament opener 9:30 a.m. Wednesday between the Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs, one of three Newfoundland entries, and Saskatchewan Pretty Boys. Another of the Newfoundland teams, the defending Canadian champion Galway Hitmen, will have both their Wednesday games broadcast online (11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.), while the province’s third team, WMC/The Bigs Bombers, will have to wait until Thursday for its first online game.
There are 10 teams entered in the tourney. Click here to continue reading at The Telegram.
