June 18-24, 2007 Schedule of Games

The Tournament starts on Monday June 18th. The first game starts at 2 p.m. The Technical Meeting will be held in the Clubhouse at the ballpark a day earlier on Sunday June 17th at 8 p.m. The meeting is organized for coaches and team managers but we would like you to be present at the TM as well as at the umpire briefing that will follow the TM. The transport from the hotel will be arranged. The Final game is scheduled on Sunday June 24th at 5:30 p.m.

Main field and field B are located in Prague (15 minutes from the hotel). Three evening games (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) will be also played in Havlickuv Brod on the brand new stadium. Havlickuv Brod is a city on the east of Bohemia about 80 minutes far from Prague. Transportation will be provided.

Czech TV channel will be live-broadcasting some of the games:
Monday 18th Czech Republic – Venezuela 7 p.m.
Wednesday 20th Japan – Czech Republic 8 p.m.
Friday 22nd Czech Republic – Denmark 8 p.m.
Sunday 24th Final 5:30 p.m.

The format of the tournament is single round robin and top four teams advance to playoffs. The three-umpire system will be used at the tournament. There is no game fee at the ISF World Cup. Every umpire is supposed to bring his or her ISF umpire uniform that includes navy pants, bright blue shirt and ISF cap. If anyone has trouble with the uniform please take your national federation uniform or we might provide you a shirt that meets all the requirements (not the official Mizuno uniform).

The organizing committee has arranged the accomodation at the Top Hotel, meals in the hotel or at the ballpark and transportation for you.
