Circle Tap wins, advances to semifinal game

HOWARD — Matt Bramwell threw a four-hitter with 13 strikeouts and hit a three-run home run as Circle Tap of Denmark defeated Nassau, Bahamas, 10-4 on Saturday in the Townline Shootout men’s fastpitch softball tournament.

Circle Tap (15-7) earned a spot in a semifinal game at 1 p.m. today.

Tim Jorgensen added a two-run homer, and Kyle Mag-nusson and Kyle VanAbel had two hits apiece for Circle Tap.

In a late Friday game, The Farm of Madison blanked Circle Tap 4-0.

Townline of Green Bay beat the Bloomington (Ill.) Stix 7-0 in its firs game Saturday. James Darby threw a two-hitter and Jim Corbett and Aaron Neemia homered.

Townline played a another game late Saturday night.
