The photo below was taken during the USA’s first game against Denmark. I can’t tell who is crossing the plate, or greeting him. Anyone want to wager a guess?

Click here for one of pitcher in Japan’s bullpen warming up vs. USA. It gives you a bit of the feel of the place, and you can see they had a pretty good crowd on hand for that game. Is that Steve Bartman with his back to the camera, waiting to reach out to catch that foul ball ? Moises?
And I think if you look closely, this is Sonny Perkins warming up against Japan.
