Forty Seventy Games Broadcast at ISC and ISC II Tournaments

A record forty-seven games were broadcast via streaming media at the ISC World Tournament and ISC II Tournament of Champions in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, by Ballparkradio and ISC-TV combined.

Twenty games were simulcast during the nine day ISC World Tournament in both video and audio on “ISC-TV”, a program created and headed up by David Blackburn, with longtime announcers Ron Chambers and Ferni Nielsen, and a one-game special by Kyle Smith, a member of the Ballparkradio crew, which was well received by fastpitch fans.

Twenty-Seven games were broadcast on Ballparkradio over five days from the ISC II Tournament of Champions
, including a first ever video telecast of the championship game, in a program headed up by ISC II commissioner Blair Setford, with announcers Kyle Smith, Blair Setford, Jim Flanagan, Lance Winn, David Bakker, Chris Bach, Joe Todd, and the newest member of the Ballparkradio crew, Steve Sabourin, a professional sports broadcaster in Ontario, who is also the voice of the Monkton Fastball Tournament.

The broadcasts reached a world wide audience , with emails coming in from listeners in Great Britain, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United States, Canada and other parts of the globe. The listening audience has grown to tens of thousands from its humble beginnings back in 2001, advancing from a dial up connection to the world, to the current high-speed, high tech productions.


This year, six games were also telecast on Rogers Cable TV.
