The Men’s Senior Canadians get underway Sunday in Saskatoon, Canada.

You can find great coverage of this tournament at Al’s Fastball, courtesy of newly minted HALL OF FAMER, Al Doran.

We were pleased to be on hand for Al Doran’s induction to the ISC Hall of Fame on Sunday, August 10, 2008, and have some video footage of both the presentation speech of Larry Lynch and acceptance speech of Al Doran, which wel will be posting to YouTube shortly.

Editor’s notes:
The term “senior” has a different connotation north of the border. It means their top division, as contrasted with the ASA’s use of the term for 50-and-over players. NAFA, thankfully, as least refers to the elder statesmen still playing the game as “Masters”.

There is also no truth to the rumor that the Sr. Canadians were being canceled, due to the fact that the ISC World Tournament final featured the two top Canadian teams there, Kitchener and Aspen 🙂
