Kokomo fast pitch team looks for second title in two years

The cfd Saints traveled to Decatur, Ill for the Class A Men’s Fast Pitch Nationals. The Saints won the Class B title in 2008 and earned an automatic bid to the 2009 tourney.
The Saints, led by manager Brent Owens, will take on New Image from Montfort, Wisconsin on Friday with a 7 p.m. CT start.

The tourney roster includes: Ron Banush, Keith Beuche, Brandon Boles, Matt Burthay, Bill Cardwell, Kevin Connolly, Nick Dobbs, Tim Douglas, Josh Gray, Randy “Doc” Kenner, Brandon LIbier, Yisdro Matos, Pernell McGregor, Randy Riggs, Scott Sullivan, Ross Sullivan, Greg Sumpter, Thad Tyra and Robbie Wooley. The team is managed by Brent Owens.
