The Bob Walsh Memorial Tournament has one of the toughest fields of teams in the country. This year, six of the eight teams came in with Top 10 rankings, providing stiff competition for the #18 ranked So Cal Bombers. The Bombers bolstered their roster for the weekend, adding pitcher Colin McKenzie from the Prince George Black Bears, and Gerry Kennedy from the Vancouver Grey Sox. The Bombers knocked off #5 ranked Circle Tap of Denmark Wisconsin (see above), and #7 ranked Quaker Riversharks, from Pennsylvania.

The Bombers will play locally this weekend, at the Best of the West Tournament in Winchester, CA, then travel to Altamonte Springs, Florida in two weeks for the ASA Men’s Major tournament, one of seven teams to throw their hat in for that one.
