A Word about the ISC II from the Commish

Dropping by the Fastpitchwest Forum today to join in the conversation is ISC II Commissioner, Blair Setford, to talk about what some say is the best intermediate fastball tournament around, the ISC II Tournament of Champions.

“You won’t find a more competitively balanced, professionally run tournament for “intermediate” teams anywhere in North America. You are guaranteed a minimum of four games and 24 of the 40 teams make the playoff round.

Whether you are from California, Pennsylvania or somewhere in between, you won’t play another team from your state or region in your round robin pool play – I personally guarantee it.

Chances are very good that at least one of your games will be web cast so your friends and family will be able to listen back home. And, if you bring a lap top, you can listen to other games in your hotel.”

In addition, here is what ISC Executive Director Ken Hackmeister had to say about the ISC II in a recent interview with “The Inside Curve”:

“ISC II has far surpassed our wildest expectations. I attribute this to the dedicated and talented group of people making up our ISC II staff. And they have done it knowing they had to provide a better product to compete with NAFA, ASA and Canadian eastern and western intermediate championships. I believe we offer our ISC II teams and players the same high level of services provided to the ISC World Tournament teams and players. Excellent umpires, organized scheduling and administration, web site exposure, comprehensive stats, streaming of games, extensive quality photography, etc I know of no other organization that offers all these quality services to this level of competition.”
