The Upper Ottawa Valley Men's Fastball league standings as of June 30 are as
follows:

Campbell's Bay Royals.........3-4-0

CFB Petawawa Stags............1-6-0

Notes:

The Micksburg Twins, ranked #23 in ISC II for North America, are undefeated
in league play.  Ace pitcher Corey Costello has all five wins for the Twins
and has a couple of home runs at the plate, including a grand slam in a 12-0
victory against CFB Petawawa on June 2.

Shawville Hursty's Bar continued their strong season with a 10-2 win over
Petawawa and a 11-1 victory over Campbell's Bay.  Their only defeat this
season a close 6-5 home decision against Micksburg on June 8.  Catcher Todd
Fraser was a top performer with three more home runs in three games in June.

Campbell's Bay Royals had the comeback of the season so far on June 23.
Down 6-1, the Royals scored six unanswered runs to defeat Beachburg 7-6.
Jamie Wilson had the victory in relief.  Campbell's Bay also lost a 2-1
squeaker at Micksburg on June 16.

Beachburg NRTco welcomed back pitcher Shawn Costello who returned from an
ankle injury. Costello recorded his first victory of the season in a 5-3
victory over CFB Petawawa on June 21.

CFB Petawawa Stags, an expansion team from the military base, recorded their
first win of the season at home June 14 with a 4-3 decision over Beachburg.
Curtis King had the pitching victory for the Stags and Steve Slade had a
home run for the winners.

Affiliated team, Fitzroy Harbour West Carleton Electric, travelled to
Beachburg on June 7 and came away with a 7-4 win.  Jason Armstrong had the
pitching victory and Charlie Ross had a home run for Fitzroy.

Due to budget cutbacks imposed in the City of Pembroke, the Annual Canada
Day tournament hosted by Micksburg has been cancelled.  However, back to
back tournaments are upcoming in Shawville (July 2-4) and Campbell's Bay
(July 9-11). Campbell's Bay, Shawville and Micksburg will be participating
in all both tournament.  CFB Petawawa will be competing in the Shawville
tournament.
