Scenic City Automotive Crunch 9 Chepstow Aces 4

Shortstop Steve Bourne opened the scoring for the Aces with a 2 out solo 
home run in the top of the first.

Crunch second baseman Ken Kivell tied the score with a run in the bottom of 
the first.

In the bottom of the second, right fielder Mark Feltis had a 2 run single 
to highlight a 4 run inning as the Crunch grabbed a 5-1 lead.

Kyle kelly had an rbi double for Cheptow in the third to cut the crunch 
lead to 5-2.

Trailing 6-2, Chepstow had back to back rbi's from Kelly and Bourne to make 
it 6-4.

However, a sacrifice fly by Crunch centrefielder Mike Majury and another 
rbi from Feltis staked the Crunch to an 8-4 lead.

Third baseman Garrett Baker added a solo homer in the bottom of the 6th to 
wrap up the scoring for the Crunch.

Bev Underwood got the win in the circle for Scenic City Automtive.

Tonight, the Port Elgin Blue Devils host the Wiarton Tom Norris Busmen at 
Lakeview Park.

Tomorrow, the Busmen host the Crunch at Bluewater Park in Wiarton on Canada 
Day.
