[Alsfastball] Circle Tap is Fargo bound

The Circle Tap fastpitch team clinched the Wisconsin Travel League on
Monday night by sweeping a pair of games from the Denmark Merchants.  The
winner of the league earns an automatic berth to the World Tournament in
Fargo in August.  The wins up CT's league record to 8-0 (30-2 overall)
with one game remaining vs The Bar on the Avenue, but they have 2 losses.

Being a Monday night the CT team was a little depleted missing Ellestad,
Miljavac, Scheller, Dyck, Meredith, Montgomery, and Malnory.  CT scored
first in the bottom of the 1st when LaLonde walked, stole 2nd, Reichardt
reached on an error and Chris Delarwelle picked up an RBI single.  The
Merchants would even the score at 1 with a homer by Matt Warpinski in the
top of 2.  Adam LaLonde answered with a solo shot in the 3rd for CT.  The
final two runs came in the 5th.  With two out Reichardt singled and
Delarwelle picked up a two run blast.

Chris Delarwelle got things going in the top of one with a solo HR.  Don
Garvey had a blast of his own in the 2nd.  In the top of 3 LaLonde tripled
and scored on a Reicardt sac fly.  Delarwelle followed with a walk,
O'Brien doubled, then Garvey picked up a 2 run double.  Darren Hansen
homered for the Denmark Merchants in the 3rd to make it a 5-1 and
Merchants pushed another across in the same frame.  CT extended the lead
to 6-2 when Delarwelle, O'Brien, Garvey, and Derricks all drew consecutive
walks.  The Merchants would add a run in the 5th but that would be it.
Robbie O'Brien started the game and threw two innings of hitless ball
striking out 6. Chris Delarwelle pitched the final 5 innings in earning
the win.
