Ottawa, ON

The first Annual Blackburn tournament took place June 25-27 with the 
Kemptville Thunder (Dan Konkle, Dan Bradly) going undefeated the whole 
weekend.    This does not mean they went unchallenged. Kemptville beat 
Navan (Dave Nicholson) in the finals 5-0.

Some of the other notable pitchers this weekend were, Darren Featherstone, 
Scott Herriot and Ray Shanoush to name a few.

This years tournament consisted of 9 teams mainly from Eastern Ontario with 
one team travelling as far away as James Bay.  Next year we would to like 
to expand on this tournament and hopefully brings teams from Southern 
Ontario and Northern New York to the Capital.
