Wilkie powers Storm over Jacks

ABRAM-VILLAGE - Wayne Wilkie was solid at the plate and on the slab as the 
St. Louis Storm topped the Wellington Arsrenault Sawmill Jacks 6-2 Tuesday 
night.

The Source for Sports Men's Intermediate Fast Pitch League game was played 
at Evangeline school field in Abram-Village.

For St. Louis, Wayne Wilkie (2-4 with a double, run scored, home run and 
three RBI), Larry Gallant (2-4 with a single, double and run scored), 
Stephen Donahue (2-4 with two singles, double and two RBI) and Robbie 
Gallant (1-3 with RBI) powered the offense.

Wellington was powered by Adam Gallant (1-3 with a walk), Jean Aucoin (2-3 
with two singles), Gerald Gallant (1-4 with an RBI) and Jon McNeil (1-2).

Wilkie went six innings, allowing two runs on six hits, walking two and 
fanning four. Jamie Betts pitched an inning in relief striking out two.

Losing pitcher Neil Arsenault went four innings, giving up four runs on 
eight hits, one walk and striking out one. Lucas Arsenault pitched three 
innings of four-hit ball, giving up two runs, walking one and fanning one 
in relief.

The Storm's next action is Wednesday night in Summerside when they play the 
Greco Twins at Queen Elizabeth Park's Very Important Volunteer Field. Game 
times are 7 and 9 p.m.
