Here are the Ontario Top 10 Intermediate Rankings for July 9. Not a lot of
big-time tournament play in the last couple weeks. The Innerkip and
Campbell's Bay, QC tournaments this weekend and the Alvinston and Dunkirk,
NY tournaments next weekend are usually good barometers for teams to judge
how they stack up. As always, the previous rankings are in brackets.

1 (1) Kemptville Thunder - Won the Blackburn tournament, but not the highest
competition - still #1 in July ISC II rankings
2 (2) Tavistock Merchants - 8-3 in league play in South Perth to lead their
division - #2 in ISC II rankings
3 (3) Alvinston Indians - Won the Glencoe tournament in impressive fashion -
#3 in ISC II rankings
4 (8) Norwich Razorbacks - 16-1 in Tri-County league - up to #15 in ISC II
rankings
5 (4) Port Elgin Blue Devils - 9-2 to sit atop the Blue Water League
standings
6 (5) Mitchell Mets - 6-2 in South Perth
7 (-) Micksburg Twins - Won the Shawville, QC tournament
8 (9) Kingston Cowboys - 12-1 is good for first in the Loughborough league
9 (10) Breslau Sox - 10-3 and leading division in South Perth - looking for
help after Mike Pinder's injury
10 (-) St. Catharines Red Hot Chili Pepper - Combined 9-1-2 on the year
between Golden Horseshoe & Niagara Falls leagues

New to the Top 10
7 Micksburg Twins - Making a repeat appearance
10 St. Catharines Red Hot Chili Pepper - Were knocking on the door the last
time around

Dropping out of the Top 10
6 Cobourg Stingers - No news since the ISC II qualifier
7 Harriston Mercurys - Only 3-4 in South Perth but still #5 in ISC II
rankings

Honourable Mentions
Toronto Champion Indians - 11-0 in Oshawa league - my apologies for noting
them with the Toronto Reds in the last rankings - while a couple players
play on both, these are two separate teams.
Claremont Rebels - 7-1-1 in Oshawa
Kingston Frontenac Cyclones - 10-3 in the Loughbourgh league
Shedden Mission - 5-9 in St. Thomas league but still #8 in ISC II rankings
Highgate Rock - finalist to Alvinston in Glencoe tournament
