Hitmen hold off feisty Storm

ST. LOUIS - The Kinkora O'Shea's Pub and Eatery Hitmen remained undefeated 
as they held of the St. Louis Storm 2-1 in a game that featured just seven 
hits Wednesday night.

The Source for Sports Men's Intermediate Fast Pitch league game was played 
at the diamond in St. Louis.

For Kinkora, Art MacDonald (0-1),scored the game winning run. Tommy Gallant 
(1-3 with a two run home run and run scored), Brian Duffy (1-3) and Peter 
McCardle (1-2) also contributed at the plate.

Curtis Riley (2-3 with a double and run scored) and Mitch Turner (2-2 with 
two singles, a walk, RBI and stolen base) supplied the offense for the Storm.

Winning pitcher Kevin Warren went five and one third innings allowing four 
hits, fanning four and walking three. Craig Manuel pitched one and 
two-third innings in relief.

Losing pitcher Wayne Wilkie went six and one third innings allowing two 
runs on three hits, striking out six and walking three. Johnathan Broderick 
went two thirds inning in relief striking out one.
