ISC To Hold Forum in Fargo on "Out-of-Area" Proposal



An open forum will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 13 at the Radisson 
Fargo Hotel (in Cityscape Ballroom A).

This forum, which is open to all who have an interest in the issue of 
"Out-of-Area" players, will be to get input on a proposal which will be 
presented to the ISC Board of Directors by the Executive Committee of the ISC.

It is the earnest desire of the ISC Board and Executive Committee to obtain 
input from teams, players, sponsors, managers, coaches, fans, and anyone 
who would like to be heard (or who would like to hear what others have to 
say) on the subject of a proposal which would limit the number of 
Out-of-Area players and require the declaration of Out-of-Area pitchers.

Purpose of the August 13 forum:  To listen to any person who has an opinion 
on this matter.  It is the intent of the Board of Directors and the 
Executive Committee to hear both support for and opposition to the proposal.
