Oshawa, On

Pickering Heat Midget Boys pitcher Andrew Scott, who plays in the Oshawa 
City and District Softball Association, was picked up by the Elmira Midgets 
for the Midget Boys Canadian Championships that are taking place in 
Summerside, P.E.I.


Andrew  pitched a complete game, no hitter striking out 11 batters. The 
only blemish on his attempt at a perfect game was a hits batsmen that was 
recorded when he  hit Ryan Gallant.

Leading Elmira at the dish was Scott (1-2, two runs scored), Kyle Kelly 
(1-2, two runs scored), Eric Hepburn (0-2, three RBI, caught stealing) and 
Josh Brohman (1-2, RBI). The final score was Elmira 8 -Moase Plumbing and 
Heating Midgets 0.

Andrew has come in as a relief pitcher in the 2 other games. Elmira mercied 
both of their opponents.
