With the ISC II tournament upcoming in Fargo, the Kemptville Thunder played
two exhibition games against other eastern Ontario Intermediate teams this
past weekend to prepare.

Fri Aug 6 at Micksburg

Kemptville Thunder 0

WP - Corey Costello
LP - Dan Bradley

Corey Costello was throwing absolute gas in this game in front of about 200
fans in the battle of the top 2 teams in eastern Ontario.  The only run was
scored in the first inning - RBI by Corey Costello.  Dan Bradley pitched
well in the loss for the Thunder.

Fitzroy Harbour WC Electric is preparing for the OASA Men's C tournament
next weekend in Wiarton.  However, the Electric #1 pitcher Bud Hanlon was
picked up for the weekend for the Niagara Falls tournament and was
unavailable.  Kemptville's bats came alive in a five-run second inning with
three home runs to blow the game open early.  Dan Bradley was throwing a
no-hitter up until the top of seven, when Fitzroy got two runs on three
hits, including a two-run homer by shortstop Michael Cavanagh.
