Championship Update - final round

WINNIPEG, Manitoba - One missed catch will haunt the Brampton Blazers
on a trip home that just got a bit longer.

Brampton's Ellen Sinclair, coming off a diving catch in the outfield
to get an out, missed a quick throw to first with two outs, allowing
the White Rock Renegades to cash their only run of the game.

White Rock took the game by 1-0.  The Renegades' Julie Fowler, picked
as the top pitcher by Softball Canada came with save, striking out the
last few batters.

Brampton will recieve the bronze medal, while the Renegades will move
on to the championship game against the Markham Jaguars in a cross-
country fight for the national championship.  The match will start at
10 PM, barring any more delays.

Stay tuned for a national champion.
