Hi Al

Last night and tonight the Lake Simcoe Lightning and the Oshawa Winchester 
Arms Ravens advanced to the quarter finals of the Oshawa City and District 
Softball Association playoffs as the #8 and #7 teams respectively.

Last night the Lake Simcoe Lightning beat the Mount Albert Mudhens by a 7 - 
2 score. The Lightning will now play #1 Bradford Sox in a best two out of 
three series.

Tonight the Oshawa Winchester Arms Ravens nipped the Markham Majors 1 - 0 
on a solo home run by Ted Kosciesza. Phil Yahn picked up the win and Darren 
Crawford was tagged for the loss in this well pitched game.The Ravens now 
advance as the #7 seed against  the #2 seed Toronto Champion Indians.

Dates are yet to be determined for these quarter final series.

The round 2 series between Aurora Leghorns and the Whitby Eagles will 
commence on Tuesday Sept. 7/04 in Brooklin, followed by game 2 in Aurora on 
Wednesday and game 3 Thursday   in Aurora if necessary.
