Wyevale Tribe Wrap Up (Wyevale, ON)

The Wyevale Tribe's season ended the same way it did a season ago with a 
semi-final loss to Minesing in the Simcoe Rural Fastball League 
play-offs.  The Tribe forced a 5th and deciding game after being down 2 
game to none, but in the end the Minesing squad proved too much for the Tribe.

The Tribe's regular season was one of ups and downs which resulted in a 2nd 
place tie with Minesing behind Vasey with a 12-7-1 record.  Last year the 
Tribe was also in a 2nd place tie with Minesing behind Vasey.

The Tribe entered 2 tournaments in 2004 and came away with a victory in 
Orillia, and a loss in the C Final in Desboro.  The Tribe also hosted their 
annual tournament that saw Milverton come away victorious.  The tournament 
will again be held next year in Elmvale on the Canada Day long weekend 
(only minutes from Wasaga Beach on a long weekend!!), if you are interested
