Notes:

The Micksburg Twins finished in first place for the sixth consecutive year.
Ace pitcher Corey Costello finished the regular season with a 7-0 perfect
record.  Costello also has all three wins for the Twins in the playoffs
against Beachburg as Micksburg leads the best-of-7 semi-final 3-1.  Last
season, the Beachburg-Micksburg semi-final series went to climatic seventh
game and the Twins were defeated.  The Micksburg tournament team had a
successful August with tournament victories at both the McNab 8 team
tournament and the Fitzroy Harbour 7 team tournament.

Shawville Hursty's Bar finished in second place after dropping their final
two regular season games to the Twins.  Todd Fraser led the league with nine
home runs in regular season play, including two games in which he hit three
dingers.  In the semi-final series against provincial rivals Campbell's Bay,
Shawville won the series 4 games to 1 with Mark Wright earning all the
victories.  Dave Keon and Todd Fraser both have two playoff home runs for
Shawville.  Hursty's now awaits the winner of the Micksburg/Beachburg series
for the best-of-seven league championship.

Campbell's Bay Royals finished in third place in the UOVMFL.  After making
it to the finals in 2003, the Royals bowed out in their semi-final versus
Shawville 4 games to 1.  Their lone win was a 1-0 gem in which lefty Len
Burger threw a one-hitter. Campbell's Bay, with some pickups from other
Valley teams, finished as "C" Champions in the Niagara Falls tournament in
August.

The 2003 playoff champions, Beachburg NRTco, finished in fourth place in the
standings and played a best-of-3 preliminary series against CFB Petawawa,
winning two straight.  With that series win, Beachburg now faces Micksburg
in a semi-final series where they find themselves behind 3 games to 1.
Shawn Costello has all three pitching victories for Beachburg in the
playoffs.

CFB Petawawa Stags finished the season in the fifth position.  The Stags
lost two straight to Beachburg in the preliminary round, with the second
game being a 3-2 loss in 10-innings.
