The Lake Simcoe Lightning Forced a third and deciding game in the OCDSA 
quarter finals with a 4-1 victory over the visiting Bradford Sox.

John Zeiger led off the game legging out an infield single and scored the 
opening run on a Brad Copping RBI single. In the fourth Todd Hamblin 
reached base after being hit by Bradford Pitcher Dennis Smith and later 
scored on the front end of a double steal. Jeff Hanson then stole third and 
scored on a throwing error by catcher Joey Moore. In the sixth Hamblin 
doubled up the middle and came around to score on a Hanson RBI. Bradford 
scored their lone run in the top of the seventh when Will McElroy reached 
second on an error to right fielder Doug Lowe and scored on a passed ball 
charged to Lightning catcher Matt Osborne.

Ricky May earned the win for the Lightning while Dennis Smith got the Loss 
for Bradford. Next Game is scheduled for Thursday night at 8:30pm in Bradford.
