AMAZING 28TH STRAIGHT CONFERENCE VICTORY!  2 SHY OF TYING RECORD!

Summary: The back-to-back defending OCAA Champions opened their regular 
conference season tonight on campus in front of a packed bleachers 
crowd!  The Lords were victorious 9-0 behind the 3 hit pitching of 4th year 
All-Star Erin Smith.  The Stratford phenom registered a complete game win 
walking none and striking out 10. The win was her 35th career college 
victory and puts her at 35-2 lifetime at DC (1st on all-time DC list). The 
Lords all-time school record of 30 consecutive fastball conference wins is 
closer to being in jeopardy.  The Lords entered the 2004-05 OCAA Conference 
season this fall sitting at 27 straight conference wins after going 15-0 
last year.  With the win tonight over Conestoga the streak now stands at 28 
straight!  The Lords appear ready to challenge for a three-peat!
