TIE SCHOOL RECORD WITH 30 STRAIGHT CONFERENCE VICTORIES!

Summary: The back-to-back defending OCAA Champions took both games from the 
Panthers of Canadore College this weekend 4-0 and 10-0. In doing so the 
team tied the school record for consecutive conference wins with 30 
now.  In the first game the Lords freshman Kristin Hurst tossed a solid 4 
hit shutout for her first collegiate win.  3rd year infielder barb Courtney 
led the way oiffensively going 2 for 4 with the game winning rbi.

Summary: The Lords rolled over the Panthers in the second game 10-0, 
invoking the league's mercy rule aftr 5 innings.  Two time league top 
pitcher, Erin Smith recorded the win for DC with a 2-hitter to move to 2-0 
on the season. She continues to add to her all-time leading win total and 
now sits at 36 wins (36-2 all-time). It was her 2nd shutout in as many 
starts!  Kristin Hurst went 3 for 3 and drove in 2 runs to lead an 
explosive offense. While Kristen Pandoff also had 2 hits and an rbi. The 
win was the 30th consecutive conference victory for the Lords which ties 
the amazing school record.  They'll have a chance to break the school 
record this Wednesday against arch rival Seneca College.
