Storm end Hitmen perfect winning streak

ST. LOUIS - The St Louis Storm put an end to the Kinkora Hitmen perfect 
22-0 record by topping the Hitmen 10-6 in a game Sunday at the diamond in 
St. Louis.
Kinkora did move to 23-0 before the loss, as they narrowly beat St. Louis 
5-4 in game one thanks to a couple of untimely miscues in the Storm infield.
In game one, the Storm scored four runs on seven hits off Craig Manuel, who 
walked one and struck out nine.
Leading St. Louis was Mitch Turner (1-3, double, two RBI) and Joey Chaisson 
(1-3, triple, RBI). No game detailsm for Kinkora were available.
Losing pitcher Wayne Wilkie went the distance allowing five runs.
In game two, the Storm took advantage of Curtis Reilly's big bat (2-4, 
triple, single, three runs scored, three RBI), Jamie Betts (2-3, two 
singles, two RBI, run scored), Brian Green (2-2, triple, single, walk, run 
scored, four RBI) and Robbie Gallant (1-3, run scored).
Jamie Betts went five innings, allowing six runs.
Losing pitcher Kevin Warren went four and one-third inning, allowing 10 
runs on nine hits, walking eight and striking out six.
Pat McCardle and Peter McCardle did hit home runs in the two games.
The second game was called with one out in the bottom of the fifth due to 
weather conditions.
Game stats for the Hitmen were unavailable.
